Is the stone in the photos the one I'll receive?

Yes. Every loose gemstone is one of a kind and photographed individually. What you see is exactly what you get.

Are your gemstones genuine?

Yes. All our stones are genuine gemstones, and where a stone's colour comes from a standard treatment (like Swiss blue topaz) we say so on the listing.

How are sizes and weights measured?

Weight is listed in carats (1 carat = 0.2 grams). Dimensions are in millimetres, length × width × depth. Your jeweller will use these to plan a setting.

Why might the colour look different in person?

Screens and lighting vary. Gemstones look different in daylight, indoor light and candlelight, which is part of their charm. We photograph in natural light where we can.

Can I get my stone made into a ring or pendant?

Absolutely. Loose stones are perfect for custom pieces. Get in touch and we'll help you think through the setting. Celestial Gems rings and pendants are also on the way.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are usually dispatched from Brisbane within 2 business days with Australia Post tracking. See Shipping & Returns for details.

What if I change my mind?

You can return an unset loose gemstone within 14 days of delivery. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
